Pharma Union Days were held on June 25-27 in the German state of Baden-Württemberg. The conference program also included presentations of three companies BAUSCH+Ströbel, Harro Höfliger and Uhlmann.
The event was initiated by Pharma Union – the official representative of these companies in Russia.
Presentations included equipment exhibitions, lectures, a series of business meetings for representatives of the pharmaceutical industry from around the world. In total, the event was attended by about 500 delegates from around the world. There were delegates from some Russian pharmaceutical companies also.
In an exclusive interview to GMP NEWS the head of BAUSCH+Ströbel company, Markus Ströbel, emphasized the high potential of the Russian pharmaceutical market, noted the desire of Russian manufacturers to import substitution and achieving country’s drug independence.
As in any market, there are both positive and negative aspects in the development of the Russian market. But we, of course, consider Russia as one of important countries for work and cooperation in the future,
Mr. Ströbel said.
